Why the list stops at two
Pump-equipped machines can also offer gravity drainage, but this page selects documented non-pump models. The shared Shield manual reserves pump operation for 60P and 85P; ambiguous live-table wording does not turn Shield 60 into a pumped model.
Neither candidate is an automatic recommendation based on floor area alone. Resolve the moisture-load assessment before paying for greater rated capacity. The 70- and 145-pint headlines describe saturation values, not the equivalent-condition figures in the table.
When to leave this shortlist
If tracing the hose reveals an uphill section, return to the drain-route decision rather than forcing a gravity-only choice. If gravity works but another model offers a better verified fit or offer, there is no evidence here that an unused internal pump necessarily makes it worse. We have not established a price or reliability advantage from the absence of a pump.
